The Nero di Troia of Cerignola is one of the most prestigious indigenous grape varieties of Puglia, a land long synonymous with oenological excellence.
This red wine, with its intense colour and decisive character, sinks its roots into a tradition dating back centuries, today winning over the palates of enthusiasts and sommeliers all over the world.
Known since the times of the Roman Empire, the grape variety developed in Puglia, finding in the territory between the Tavoliere delle Puglie and the Gargano the ideal habitat to express its unique characteristics.

Nero di Troia presents itself with a ruby red colour, tending towards violet in its younger versions.
On the nose it is a wine rich in intense aromas of wild berries, cherry and plum, with spicy nuances of black pepper and tobacco and incisive balsamic notes.
On the palate it stands out for its full structure and decisive tannins, balanced by an acidic backbone that gives it freshness and longevity.

The Cerignola area, in the heart of the province of Foggia, is characterised by a Mediterranean climate, with hot and dry summers, ideal for the cultivation of Nero di Troia.
The calcareous and well-drained soils help give the wine a minerality that enriches the aromatic bouquet.
Traditional farming practices are the secret to obtaining high-quality wines.
Nero di Troia lends itself to numerous food pairings.
It is perfect with typical dishes of Apulian cuisine, such as orecchiette with meat ragù, caciocavallo podolico, and thanks to its structure it also pairs magnificently with red meats and aged cheeses.
The Nero di Troia of Cerignola is much more than a simple wine: it is the symbol of a tradition rooted in the history of Puglia, a sensory experience that carries with it the passion and culture of a unique territory.
