The harvest is not just a moment of gathering, but a tradition rooted in winemaking culture and in the history of the families who devote themselves to this ancient art year after year. It is a time of intense activity and sharing, in which experienced hands cut the bunches while stories, laughter and reflections weave together among the rows.

Every harvest is an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas, where new insights are born and ripen, just like the grapes in the vat. For us at Tenute Manduano, the harvest is a new chapter to be written every year. It is a moment that renews and strengthens itself season after season, just like our vines, tended with love and dedication.

This year, a particularly hot summer brought about an early harvest for our Nero di Troia. The high temperatures and intense sun accelerated the grapes’ ripening cycle, calling for timely action to ensure the highest quality of the fruit. It promises to be a challenging vintage, but one that, as always, we will face with the passion and expertise of our oenologist Giuseppe Colopi.

Nero di Troia 2024 promises to be a unique wine, able to fully express the character of a land rich in history and tradition. This year’s distinctive climatic conditions may give the wine distinctive and complex notes, making this vintage an authentic expression of our land, capable of surprising not only enthusiasts but also those looking for new emotions in the glass.

The harvest is over, but the work in the cellar has only just begun. The grapes are ready for their journey of transformation, followed with care and respect. Every bottle will tell this story, made of challenges and successes, of love for the land and respect for nature.
